So lots more framework has been completed and the game is really starting to take shape! I understand how most of the pieces will fit together in the puzzle. However, I now feel like I am at the asset creation stage, i.e. I have the framework but now I need to fill it with life and options. Unfortunately for me, this is where my interest starts to fade as I love the technical challenges coding offers, but lots of asset creation (artwork, ideas, values, etc) takes a toll on me. Additionally, to make it worse I am starting to doubt if this game will ever get any sales/reception! It would be a sad day to puts lots of love and effort into something only a few people actually enjoyed. So to make a terrible decision for myself, I thought of the following……
I need to advertise my game some how… I don’t feel like paying money for adverts…. I don’t think I will get very far with just a few friends/family to convince…. so why don’t I create something of value on my website to help draw attention/visitors to it where I will have something about my game. And what would be more fitting than to do a little Unity walk-through/tutorial of my second game Idea I have head for awhile! This totally wont distract me from finishing this game :).
